Established in Shanghai on September 8, 2006, with the approval of the State Council of China, the China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) is a demutualized exchange specializing in financial derivatives. It was jointly founded by the Shanghai Futures Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Shanghai Stock Exchange, and Shenzhen Stock Exchange. CFFEX's mission is to build a sound, efficient, and transparent financial derivatives market, serving the real economy and supporting the stable development of China's capital markets by offering risk-management tools like stock index futures and options, and treasury bond futures.
