Capital for Change, Inc. (C4C) is Connecticut’s largest full-service Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). It was formed in 2016 through the merger of three established non-profit lenders: Connecticut Housing Investment Fund, a non-profit mortgage lender; Corporation for Independent Living, a developer of accessible housing; and Greater New Haven Community Loan Fund. C4C's mission is to provide flexible and responsive financing and stewardship solutions for affordable housing, energy efficiency, and community-focused projects that benefit low-to-moderate-income individuals and communities.
