Founded on March 19, 1979, Banco Credicoop Cooperativo Limitado was created from the merger of 44 cooperative credit unions ("Cajas de Crédito"). It is the largest cooperative bank in Argentina and one of the most significant in Latin America. Its mission is to provide accessible and equitable financial services, guided by the principles of cooperation, solidarity, and social responsibility, with a strong focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the social economy sector.
