The Berufsgenossenschaft der Bauwirtschaft (BG BAU) is a German public-law corporation responsible for statutory accident insurance for companies in the construction industry and associated sectors. Its mission is to prevent occupational accidents and work-related health hazards, ensure effective first aid, and provide compensation and rehabilitation for employees after work-related accidents or occupational diseases.
