For decades, it was owned by the Oetker Group. The bank's core business areas included private banking, asset management, and investment banking. In March 2021, Hauck & Aufhäuser, a private bank owned by the Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, acquired Bankhaus Lampe. The legal and operational merger was completed on January 1, 2022, creating the new entity "Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG," which combines the strengths and heritage of both institutions to offer comprehensive private and corporate banking services.
