Bangalore Mirror was launched on May 15, 2008, as part of The Times Group (Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd.). It established itself as a leading compact daily newspaper with a strong focus on hyperlocal news, civic issues, and lifestyle content relevant to the residents of Bangalore. Due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the print edition was briefly discontinued in December 2020, with the publication continuing as a digital-only entity. However, due to public demand, the print edition was successfully relaunched in January 2022. Today, Bangalore Mirror operates as both a daily print newspaper and a dynamic digital news platform.
