The Central Bank of the Netherlands or DNB is part of the European System of Central banks (ESCB) and is responsible for the determination and implementation of the monetary policy for the Economic Monetary Union (EMU). The DNB is also required to oversee payment systems to ensure safe and reliable payment processing.
