Verge Currency

Verge Currency (XVG) is a community-led, open-source cryptocurrency project that was originally created in 2014 under the name DogeCoinDark and rebranded to Verge in 2016. Its core mission is to empower individuals and businesses by offering a secure, anonymous, and low-cost digital payment method for everyday use. Verge's blockchain technology aims for mass adoption by incorporating privacy-enhancing features, such as the integration of the Tor anonymity network and I2P tunneling, which help to obfuscate user IP addresses and protect identities.
