Information Assurance Platform (IAP) is not a registered or legitimate company. It is the name used for an online platform that has been accused of operating as a Ponzi or task-based recruitment scheme. Reports indicate the platform lured users by promising high returns for completing simple online "optimization" tasks, which required an initial investment. Victims reported being unable to withdraw their funds, especially after depositing larger amounts. The scheme has operated under various domain names, which are frequently shut down, and it has been flagged by numerous fraud-alert websites.
