IBOX BANK was a Ukrainian commercial bank with a strategic focus on becoming the country's leading transactional bank. Established in 1993, it underwent significant transformation, positioning itself as a key financial technology partner for businesses, particularly in the e-commerce and service sectors. The bank was a principal member of Mastercard and Visa and was renowned for its acquiring services, including mobile POS (mPOS) terminals, online payment gateways, and a large network of payment terminals across Ukraine. Its mission was to provide fast, reliable, and innovative payment solutions. However, in March 2023, the National Bank of Ukraine revoked its license and initiated liquidation proceedings due to systematic violations of financial monitoring laws.
