Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc., operating through its principal subsidiaries Olin Brass, Chase Brass, and A.J. Oster, was a prominent North American converter, fabricator, processor, and distributor of specialized non-ferrous metal products. The company manufactured and sold a variety of copper and brass products for use in diverse end markets, including the building and housing, automotive, ammunition, and electronics industries. Founded through a portfolio of established businesses, some with histories dating back over a century, the company was a key supplier of coinage metal to the U.S. Mint. In July 2019, Global Brass and Copper Holdings was acquired by the Wieland Group, a global leader in the field of semi-finished products of copper and copper alloys.
