Established in 1984 under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, R.O.C. (Taiwan), the Financial Information Service Co., Ltd. (FISC) is the central operator of Taiwan's financial information and payment infrastructure. Its primary mission is to promote the electronization of financial services by building and maintaining a secure, efficient, and shared payment system. Key services include the nationwide ATM pool, inter-bank remittance, credit card information sharing, and the development of modern payment solutions like the FISC-XML Gateway for online transactions and the Taiwan Pay mobile payment platform.
