Founded in 2014 in Munich, FinTecSystems established itself as a prominent B2B fintech company specializing in open banking infrastructure for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The company, licensed by BaFin, offers products that allow businesses to access their customers' bank account data and initiate payments with user consent. Its services are used for automated credit checks, faster onboarding processes, and integrated payment solutions. In May 2021, the Swedish open banking platform Tink announced its acquisition of FinTecSystems, which was completed in 2022, to strengthen its presence and market leadership in the DACH region. FinTecSystems now operates as an integral part of Tink's pan-European platform.
