Egoras

Egoras positions itself as the world's first decentralized credit protocol backed by uncollateralized physical and intangible assets. Operating on the blockchain, its mission is to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs who lack the collateral required for traditional bank loans. The protocol connects these borrowers with lenders in a peer-to-peer fashion. Instead of collateral from the borrower, loans are secured by a pool of guarantors who stake the native Egoras (EGR) token to underwrite the loans, earning interest in return. The ecosystem also includes the Egoras Dollar (EUSD), a stablecoin used for loan disbursement and repayment.
