Founded in 2010, CoverHound, Inc. was a digital insurance marketplace designed to help consumers and businesses easily compare and purchase insurance. The platform provided instant and accurate quotes from a variety of leading insurance carriers for auto, home, renters, and business insurance. It aimed to simplify the insurance shopping process through its technology-driven comparison platform and licensed advisory team. In November 2020, CoverHound was acquired by the major insurance brokerage firm Brown & Brown, Inc. and has since been integrated into Brown & Brown's retail segment, with its technology powering their digital insurance solutions.
