BRICKX

Founded in 2014 and launched in 2016, BrickX is an investment platform designed to make property investment more accessible, affordable, and liquid for Australians. The company purchases residential properties and places each one into a separate unit trust. Investors can then buy "Bricks," which are units or fractions of that trust, starting from a low minimum investment. This model allows investors to receive a share of the monthly rental income and potential capital gains, without needing the large deposit and mortgage required for traditional property ownership. The platform also includes a secondary market where investors can offer their Bricks for sale to other users.
