Founded in 2017 and based in Montreal, Breathe Life was an enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider focused on modernizing the life insurance sector. The company's platform offered tools for quoting, application, and automated underwriting, enabling insurance carriers to sell their products directly to consumers online and through advisor networks more efficiently. Their mission was to simplify the insurance buying process and help carriers reach new markets. In August 2021, Breathe Life was acquired by SE2, LLC, a leading technology and third-party administrator for the life and annuities industry, to enhance SE2's end-to-end digital platform.
