Black Hills Federal Credit Union

Established in 1941, Black Hills Federal Credit Union (BHFCU) began by serving civilians at the Rapid City Army Air Base. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and governed by its members. Instead of paying outside stockholders, it returns earnings to members through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and enhanced services. BHFCU offers a full suite of financial products, including savings and checking accounts, mortgages, auto loans, credit cards, and business services, with a mission focused on community involvement and improving the financial well-being of its members.
