(Arcil) was the first company of its kind in India, sponsored by prominent financial institutions including State Bank of India (SBI), IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, and Punjab National Bank (PNB). The company's core business involves acquiring distressed assets (Non-Performing Loans) from banks and financial institutions at a discount and working towards their resolution and recovery. Arcil's mission is to unlock the value trapped in these distressed assets through various resolution strategies like financial restructuring, settlement, and asset sales, thereby helping to clean up the balance sheets of the lending institutions and contributing to the health of the Indian financial system.
