Aquamarine Capital is an investment manager whose investment philosophy was inspired by the original 1950’s Buffett partnerships. The managing partner and principal of Aquamarine Capital is Guy Spier, who is an ardent disciple of Warren Buffett and closely follows Buffett’s principles on Value Investing and capital allocation. The firm commenced operations in 1997 with capital from family and friends and grew to accommodate third-party investors.
