Anchorage

Founded in 2017 by Diogo Mónica and Nathan McCauley, Anchorage Digital is a premier digital asset platform for institutions. Its mission is to advance institutional participation in the digital asset class. The company made history in January 2021 by receiving the first federal charter for a digital asset bank from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This charter allows it to operate as a qualified custodian, offering a secure and regulated environment for services including custody, prime services, trading, financing, staking, and on-chain governance.
