AFP Modelo S.A. is a Chilean Pension Fund Administrator (Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones) that began operations in August 2010. It was created after winning a public tender for the portfolio of new affiliates by offering the lowest administration commission in the market, a competitive position it aims to maintain. The company's mission is to manage the mandatory and voluntary retirement savings of Chilean workers, investing the funds across different risk-profiled portfolios (Multifondos) to generate long-term profitability for its members' future pensions.
