Vimvest was a U.S.-based fintech company that offered a mobile-first savings and investment application. Its mission was to make personalized financial planning and investing accessible to everyone, particularly millennials. The platform allowed users to set specific financial goals (e.g., buying a car, a down payment for a house) and then save or invest towards them using features like fractional shares of stocks and ETFs, and round-up contributions. In April 2021, Vimvest was acquired by the financial technology company Stash. Following the acquisition, the Vimvest platform was shut down, and its user accounts were migrated to the Stash platform.
