Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) is a not-for-profit, public corporation of the State of Utah, created in 1975 by the state legislature. Its mission is to increase the availability of affordable housing for Utah residents. UHC is self-supporting and operates without the use of state tax dollars, funding its operations and programs primarily by issuing housing bonds. The corporation offers a variety of mortgage loan products, down payment assistance programs, and other resources to help low- and moderate-income individuals and families achieve homeownership.
