Its core service was "income smoothing," where it would top up a user's account in weeks with low earnings and hold back surplus funds during high-earning weeks to create a more consistent, predictable paycheque. The service also included a business current account and tools for financial management. In late 2021, Trezeo announced its closure, with its intellectual property being acquired by the financial services provider Monese. The company is no longer operational.
