Founded in 2015, Timo was the first company in Vietnam to offer a "digital bank" experience, aiming to make banking more accessible, innovative, and user-friendly. Initially partnering with VPBank, Timo relaunched in 2021 in partnership with the licensed Viet Capital Bank. The company operates on a "neobank" model, focusing on a mobile-first platform for everyday banking needs such as accounts, payments, savings, and card management, while leveraging its partner bank's regulatory licenses and infrastructure.
