Established in 1976, The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) is a government-owned policy bank mandated to support the sound development of the South Korean national economy. Its primary mission is to facilitate international trade and investment by providing comprehensive financial solutions, including export loans, trade finance, and guarantees for Korean companies. KEXIM also manages key government funds, such as the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) to aid developing countries and the Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund (IKCF) to promote economic exchange with North Korea.
