Established in 1989, the Society for Upliftment of People with People’s Organisation and Rural Technology (SUPPORT) is a non-profit organization working for the empowerment of the most marginalized communities in the drought-prone areas of Maharashtra, India. Its mission is to enable these communities to achieve self-reliance and sustainable development. SUPPORT focuses on several key areas, including women empowerment through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), watershed development, sustainable agriculture, community health, sanitation, and education.
