SunTrust Robinson Humphrey was the investment banking division of SunTrust Banks, Inc., with a history dating back to 1894. It provided strategic advisory, capital raising, and financial risk management solutions to a diverse client base of corporations, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors. In December 2019, SunTrust Banks merged with BB&T Corporation to form Truist Financial Corporation. Subsequently, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey was combined with BB&T Capital Markets to create Truist Securities, which now serves as the integrated corporate and investment banking, and capital markets division of the new parent company.
