Formed in 1992 through the joint efforts of area county governments, ports, and businesses, the Southeast Texas Economic Development Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the industrial, commercial, and civic welfare of its three-county region. The foundation works to attract new businesses, support the expansion of existing industries, and generally promote a favorable business climate to stimulate job creation and economic growth in Southeast Texas.
