Smart Data Foundry is an independent, not-for-profit research organization based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Formerly known as the Global Open Finance Centre of Excellence (GOFCoE), its mission is to unlock the power of data to address pressing societal and economic challenges. Through collaboration with founding partners like Lloyds Banking Group, The University of Edinburgh, and The Financial Times, the organization facilitates safe and ethical data access for researchers to generate insights that can improve people's lives and inform public policy.
