Founded in 1992 as ŠKOFIN s.r.o., the company has established itself as a market leader in automotive financing in the Czech Republic. As a member of the Volkswagen Financial Services AG group, its core mission is to provide comprehensive financial solutions, including consumer loans, financial and operating leases, and insurance products for customers of Volkswagen Group brands (such as Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, and Porsche). In 2016, the company was rebranded to Volkswagen Financial Services s.r.o. to unify its brand identity with its global parent company, but the original legal entity and its services continue.
