SEFCU
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 1934, SEFCU (State Employees Federal Credit Union) was one of the largest credit unions in New York State. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission was to provide affordable and accessible financial services to its members, reinvesting profits back into the community and member benefits. In 2022, SEFCU completed a historic merger with CAP COM Federal Credit Union, creating a new, larger entity named Broadview Federal Credit Union. The combined organization continues the mission of its predecessors, serving a broad membership across New York with a full range of banking products, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services.
