The company specialized in helping financial institutions and accounting firms to analyze financial data, streamline credit and lending processes, and manage portfolio risk. Its core technology was initially based on an artificial intelligence system that could analyze any private company’s financial statements in a narrative format. In 2018, Sageworks was acquired by private equity firm Accel-KKR and merged with MAINVERVE, forming a new company named Abrigo.
