Originally founded in 1936 as El Paso Teachers Federal Credit Union (EPTFCU) to serve the financial needs of educators, the institution has grown to serve the broader El Paso community. It officially rebranded to Raiz Federal Credit Union in 2018. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Raiz is owned and operated by its members, with a mission to be a trusted financial partner by providing personalized service, competitive rates, and financial education to help its members achieve their financial goals.
