QIWI SLOVAKIA s. r. o. was established as the Slovak subsidiary of the global financial technology group QIWI. The parent company, founded in 2007, specialized in providing next-generation payment and financial services in Russia and other countries. Its core offerings included the QIWI Wallet, a popular e-wallet and payment system, and a vast network of payment kiosks. The Slovak entity was part of the group's European expansion but ceased operations and was officially removed from the business register in 2021.
