plexcorps.com (Defunct)

PlexCorps was a company founded by Dominic Lacroix in Quebec, Canada, that launched an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for its proprietary cryptocurrency, PlexCoin, in 2017. The company fraudulently promised investors exorbitant returns, claiming investments would yield a 1,354% profit in less than 29 days. Investigations by financial regulators, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Quebec's Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), exposed the operation as a major securities fraud scheme. The company's operations were subsequently halted by court order, its assets were frozen, and its founder was convicted of fraud and sentenced to prison.
