OyaPayME Limited was a Nigerian fintech company founded in 2017. Backed by the accelerator Y Combinator, its mission was to simplify payment acceptance for small and medium-sized businesses across Nigeria. The platform enabled merchants to receive payments from customers via various channels, including QR codes and payment links, without the need for traditional POS hardware. Despite its initial promise, the company has since ceased operations and is officially registered as "Inactive" with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
