Founded in 1920, the National Roads and Motorists' Association (NRMA) has grown from a small motoring body into a major Australian organisation with over 2.7 million members. As a mutual company, it is owned by its members and operates with a mission to keep people moving safely and to enhance their lives. Its core services have expanded beyond legendary roadside assistance to include a comprehensive suite of insurance products (car, home, travel), car servicing and repairs, driver training, and a significant presence in the domestic tourism industry through its network of holiday parks and travel agency.
