Newport Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned and controlled by its members. Its core mission is to promote thrift by encouraging members to save regularly and to provide affordable loans and other financial services. Established to serve the local community, it operates for the benefit of its members rather than for profit, with any surplus being returned to members through dividends or used to improve services.
