The National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC) is an independent corporate Commonwealth entity established by the Australian Government under the *National Reconstruction Fund Corporation Act 2023*. Its mission is to diversify and transform Australia's industry and economy by providing finance—including loans, guarantees, and equity—to projects in seven priority areas: renewables and low-emission technologies, medical science, transport, value-add in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, value-add in resources, defence capability, and enabling capabilities. The NRFC aims to be a catalyst for private investment, targeting projects that will build Australia's industrial capability and create secure jobs.
