Multiplus S/A was established in 2009 as a spin-off from TAM Airlines' loyalty program, "TAM Fidelidade". It operated as an independent, publicly-traded company, creating a coalition loyalty network where customers could accumulate points from various segments, including air travel, fuel, retail, and financial services, and redeem them for products, services, and airline tickets. In 2019, LATAM Airlines Group, the parent company of LATAM Airlines Brasil (formerly TAM), completed the acquisition of Multiplus and merged it with its own loyalty program, subsequently rebranding the integrated program as "LATAM Pass". As a result, the Multiplus brand and the separate company ceased to exist.
