Moderna Försäkringar was a challenger brand in the Swedish insurance market, owned by the Danish insurance group Tryg. It offered a variety of non-life insurance products for both private individuals and businesses, including home, car, pet, and travel insurance. The company aimed to be a modern and digital-first alternative in the industry. In April 2022, following Tryg's acquisition of RSA Scandinavia's Swedish and Norwegian business (Trygg-Hansa and Codan Norway), Moderna Försäkringar was officially merged into and rebranded as Trygg-Hansa, combining the two entities into one of Sweden's largest insurance providers.
