Mighty was a technology startup that built and offered a unique cloud-based browser. The service worked by streaming a powerful instance of the Chromium browser from a remote server directly to the user's computer, aiming to offload heavy processing, significantly reduce local RAM and CPU consumption, and extend battery life. The company's mission was to deliver a faster and more powerful browsing experience, irrespective of the user's local hardware capabilities. In June 2023, Mighty announced it had been acquired by Discord, and its standalone browser service was officially shut down on July 25, 2023.
