Founded in 1986, Microempresas de Colombia is a non-profit savings and credit corporation supervised by the Superintendencia de la Economía Solidaria of Colombia. Its mission is to promote the economic and social development of micro-entrepreneurs, their families, and their communities by providing accessible and appropriate financial services, primarily microcredits and savings products, to foster business growth and financial inclusion.
