Loans at Home was a trading name for S.D. Taylor Limited, a long-established UK lender specializing in home credit, also known as doorstep lending. The company provided small, unsecured cash loans to individuals, with agents visiting customers' homes to collect repayments on a weekly basis. It was part of the Non-Standard Finance plc group. In March 2022, the parent company announced it would be closing its home credit division, including Loans at Home, due to regulatory pressures and a high volume of customer complaints. The company officially ceased all lending on July 22, 2022, and entered a managed wind-down.
