The Kirchliche Zusatzversorgungskasse (KZVK) is a supplementary pension institution for employees of the Catholic Church and its charitable organization, Caritas, in Germany. Established as an institution under public law (Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts), its mission is to provide secure and reliable company pension schemes, ensuring financial stability for its members during retirement, in the event of disability, or for their survivors. It manages a significant portfolio of capital investments to fund these pension obligations for over 1.9 million insured individuals and 26,000 employers.
