KBS Capital Markets Group, LLC functioned as the exclusive, in-house FINRA-member broker-dealer for its parent company, KBS. Its primary mission was to market and distribute KBS-sponsored investment products, primarily non-traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and other real estate-related securities, to a national network of financial advisors, broker-dealers, and registered investment advisors. The group was responsible for raising capital to fund the acquisition of properties for KBS's portfolios. As of December 31, 2021, the firm's FINRA registration was terminated, and it is no longer an active broker-dealer. The parent company, KBS, continues to operate as a prominent real estate investment manager.
