As an NBFC, its primary business was to provide a range of credit products, including loans against shares, personal loans, business loans, and financing for primary market investments (IPOs). The company's operations ceased following a major scandal uncovered in its group company, Karvy Stock Broking Ltd. (KSBL), in 2019. The subsequent regulatory bans, investigations, and creditor actions led to the insolvency and eventual liquidation of Karvy Fincorp and other entities within the Karvy Group.
