PT Jouska Finansial Indonesia was an independent financial advisory firm that gained significant popularity, particularly among millennials in Indonesia, through social media. Founded by Aakar Abyasa Fidú, the company offered financial education and planning services. However, it was later discovered that Jouska was also allegedly managing client funds and directing them into high-risk stock investments without the required investment manager license from Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK). This led to substantial losses for numerous clients, a public scandal, and ultimately the revocation of its business license and criminal proceedings against its founder in 2020.
